According to Gay Cox, President of the ADAMHS Board, “Our
new logo goes beyond a public awareness focus, it represents the ADAMHS Boards’ resolve to serve our communities by supporting programs
that address the public health needs of our citizens such as suicide prevention, substance abuse, and mental health. It is an
honor to serve as the chair of such dedicated people who give of their time and talents to serve on the ADAMHS Board. We may represent

who struggle on the road to recovery from mental health and substance abuse disorders is evident throughout the Board and provider
agency system. There is a road to recovery and the ADAMHS Board is dedicated to serving individuals and families on their journey
to recovery."
The Board’s new mission statement reads “providing the foundation for community-based mental health and
substance abuse recovery.” The tag line is “supporting your journey to wellness.” Dave Schaffer, Executive Director of
the ADAMHS Board believes the logo is a much better representation of the mission of the Board and its support of services to children
and adults. The S in ADAMHS is represented by a road symbolizing a journey and includes silhouettes of an adult and child.
