The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board of Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties is pleased to announce the appointment of Dalton Bixler and Larry Owen to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Bixler is general manager and winemaker of Breitenbach Wine Cellars, Inc. in Sugarcreek, Ohio and was appointed to the ADAMHS Board by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. Mr. Bixler resides in Dover. Mr. Larry Owen, a resident of Dover, is a pharmacist with Buehler’s Food Market and was appointed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health. Bixler and Owen received their oaths of office at the ADAMHS Board’s June meeting. Each was appointed to serve a partial term of three years on the Board. Members of the Board serve on a volunteer basis.

The ADAMHS Board is a division of local government responsible for the planning and funding of behavioral health prevention and treatment services on behalf of Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties. The ADAMHS Board works closely with other divisions of local and state government and private non-profit organizations to support individuals and families with severe mental disabilities and substance abuse treatment disorders. Ms. Diana Strader, President of the Board, was also re-appointed to the Board by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. Ms. Strader is a service and support administrator for Carroll County MR/DD Board. She resides in Malvern.
